This aircraft was meant to replace the Fw-200 Condor in the maritime bombing and reconaissance role, it would have helped U-boats locate Cargo ships in the Atlantic, It had no connecting tailplane to give the turret guns and tail gun a clear line of sight and fire, also all turrets beside the tail gun were remote control (activator 1 for front guns, activator 2 for turrets, activator 3 for tail guns, trim for landing gears)
