Captured Awwam Assault Rifle, Kalashnikov Pattern
A captured Caliphate of Awwam assault rifle of the Kalashnikov pattern. Although somewhat inaccurate in tests, it is very reliable and incredibly tolerant of contaminants such as mud and dirt. Safety is currently in safe position, and doubles as dust cover. It operates from a gas-operated, short-stroke piston, much like the M18 and M36 series. Settings go as follows; safe, full, and semi. Ammunition is steel-cased 7.62mm assault rifle. Furniture is made from finished plywood. Iron sights are of the ramp type, adjustable to 800 meters. Accurate range in practice is 300 meters; it is believed that settings at ranges longer than that are meant for volley fire. Sight is set for 100m. All metal components, with the exception of the barrel and firing pin, are made from stampings, including the receiver. Examples have been found with a stamped buttstock derived from the MP 40 submachine gun which folds underneath the handguard. Extended, this buttstock is somewhat flimsy. The rifle weighs 3.5 kilograms without the magazine; with a loaded magazine, it weighs 3.75 kilograms.

Idk@1gman4evr
@Pilotmario ok hey do you know how to put up flags?
Yeah. @1gman4evr
@Pilotmario Its a AK-47?
@Pilotmario true
@TemDesBur Still a very relevant firearm though.
@Pilotmario the AKM was introduced in 1959 though, the AK-74 was introduced... well.. in 1974
@TemDesBur Pretty much.
Only difference is the straighter magazine due to the shallower taper of the 5.45x39mm round.
@Pilotmario the magazine for the akm was based off the 74's?
@TemDesBur Although the magazine was based off the AK-74.
@TemDesBur The AKM.
Basically what everyone calls the AK-47.
@Pilotmario the AK-47? or the AKM (basically an improved 47)?
I modeled it off the original.
Well, the improved version of the original which westerners slap the name of the original to. @TemDesBur
@Pilotmario If you're looking for an accurate AK pattern rifle try the AK-74M or AN-94
Mother Russia is very proud X3 @Pilotmario
We did. We saw the AK-47 on the list. This is basically an AK-47. Except a much better looking model that looks like an AK-47. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
@Pilotmario Perhaps if you looked through our Unit List? regardless we do not use 1970 AK's and this must've been a tribe members personal weapon of choice. we Do have an Kalashnikov. now I'm going to improve upon our current model. not this one
Those are much better than this. @PINK
I am used to those made in Yugoslavia. @Pilotmario
Ehh... This is an AK made in the Middle East:
They're pretty garbage. I mean, they're safe to fire and perfectly functional, but just don't expect to hit anything beyond 300 meters. @PINK
Also, most modern AK-47s, which this is not, can be really accurate. Current Russian issue rifles are decent, if not good......when it comes to accuracy.
@YuukaNeko @GoldenEagle @PINK I made what is essentially an AK-47.
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation You mentioned you used Kalashnikov-pattern assualt rifles. But you never posted any AK-type gun builds.
So I made it for you. And said we took it from the hands of a dead Awwami soldier as a war trophy.
