Designed in late 1995, the model 9P is a civilian kit-built bush plane. It can seat two; A pilot and a single passenger, or alternatively, it can carry 300 pounds of cargo. It has a top speed of around 210 miles per hour. The wheels can also be swapped for either floats or skis, depending on the situation, and the fuselage can be completely enclosed to deal with colder or more rugged environments. Since it was introduced in 1997, the Model 9P has sold over 3,000 units worldwide and is also currently being looked into by the US Air Force for search-and-rescue operations.
