The third Installment in the XS series, the XS-003 is a well balanced fighter with respectable performance in nearly any field.
It comes with two LC-02s (anyone who has seen any of my posts before knows that they are laser cannons), and a good quantity of micro missiles, which are very overpowered.
To make the fuselage I used a reverse engineered trick that positions the fuselage blocks sideways, and builds from there. Think of the whole body as one big wing. It makes for really nice blended fuselages. The tail fins are similar just with rotation.
A prototype version had an energy shield, which worked, but only against bullets. If a missile hit the shield you would just go into a flat spin from the shock. I decided to omit that from the final design.
