History: The Hawker Rogue Mk.I (named after a "rogue wave") was designed in 1953 as a trainer to serve in the RAF, RNZAF, and RNA. The RNA cancelled their orders in 1955 with the RAF following in 1959. The RNZAF used the three aircraft they eventually received in 1962 as trainers until 1981 when they were retired from service. The three still survive, with two being used as air show aircraft and the last as a museum display piece.
