AeroEngineering 172B
BIG SHOUTOUT TO SKUA FOR HELPING MAKE THIS WORK.
The AeroEngineering 172 is AeroEngineerings newest civilian plane. It is designed for ease of use, and requires very little maintenance. The flight characteristics make it a breeze to fly and the plane almost flies itself. This makes it good for Search and Rescue missions and sightseeing. With a cargo bay behind the pilot, this little STOL is also good at transporting cargo to rural and nearly inaccessible places, and its flaps allow for slower landing and takeoff speeds. It can contain up to 350 square feet of cargo space. The cockpit dash interface is designed for ease of use, allowing the pilot to get all of the info he needs at a glance, such as throttle, nearby aircraft, location, and transmissions. AeroEngineering hopes you enjoy your new 172, and have a safe flight.
Features:
Working cockpit-cockpit view
Radar-took forever, looks great
Flaps-VTOL down
STOL-just takeoff and land, ok?
Simple Detailing-look at the exterior
Credits
Skua-flaps, modded propeller, help with balancing the plane
TheLatentImage-balance
Ronyseptian17-cockpit base
SpiritusRaptor-detailing pieces
NSStancik-landing gear
Exumer-wing leading edges
Builders Notes:
Due to all of the hidden parts for the cockpit, this plane is quite heavy, so the stall speed is about 120 mph (with flaps extended). Also, because the landing the gear is so springy, you have to come in softly to avoid bouncing and crashing. If you like this plane, please go look at Skua’s aircraft and upvote one of them, because he built about a fourth of this plane. One last thing, this is based off of my gravatar. The front profile of this plane should look very similar to the one on my gravatar. Have fun flying.

The propeller explodes when I throttle 100%
looks like a cesna but still really cool and detailed
Wanted to make a ship for mobile cuz that's what I use.@AeroEngineering
Holy crap the attention of detail on this one thing!!!! 10/10 IGN
@Solarisaircraft no. the cruise ship stateroom is the smallest I could get it
Can you make a smaller version of your cruise ship stateroom?
@Wakescar thanks
Beautiful front to back, inside n out. Love this little plane. I broke the radar when I bounced off the ground staring at it but all critical systems still check. Nice work dude
Your abilities as one of The best builders in SP are not subject to negotiation, but thanks for mentioning @Skua
@AeroEngineering
Can you do a amphibious spacecraft with a hyperdrive.
@ronyseptian17 np. Its a great cockpit, I knew I had to incoprarate it in one of my planes
@AeroEngineering,Glad to see someone use my cockpit ;)
@AeroEngineering,Glad to see someone use my cockpit ;)
@Kimo I can't take any credit for the outstanding interior, that was all AeroEngineering and ronyseptian. I just helped get it to fly a little more nicely
@AeroEngineering
Try a cargo plane with a driveable car inside.
The Radar is so cool, best Cockpit so far! I will be posting a cool nautical cockpit soon@AeroEngineering
@bjac0 its designed to look like the 172 from the front profile, whuichever one is on my gravatar
@FlOu thanks
@Kimo the power indactor is taken from one of @ronyseptian17 planes, along with the chair and mistof the dash. The main thing I added was the radar
Great work guys. Damn that cockpit is unbelievble
It looks alot like that one cesna plane, 178? 287? 278? I can't remember... What was i doing, oh yeah! Upvoting this awsome plane!
@AeroEngineering, @Skua. This Cockpit is truely amazing work. Great idea with The power indicator!
@Skua thanks
