I have made for you (well, for me) a 1948 John Deere G. I'm a huge John Deere fan, so it was only a matter of time. This model is a little funny-looking, but it's hard to build at a small scale. I'd say its only a little less than Kerbal vehicle quality. This is the first in a series.
The John Deere G was produced from 1937 (?) to 1952. From 1942 to 1947 the G was produced as the John Deere model GM ("G Modernized"). The GM designation was created to receive government approval for a war-time price increase. After 1947, the model name was reverted back to the model G. Stock, it has 34.4 drawbar horsepower. It weighs 5300-7500 pounds.
To drive it, VTOL forward. That's it. That's all you do. Steer with yaw. VTOL center to stop. Try out cockpit view, too. Also, never press 3 while you are moving, or you will get stuck. Try to VTOL forward within 5 seconds of starting the level to avoid getting stuck, too. When you get stuck, there's no getting out of it. Sorry. Be careful off-runway to not flip over. Have fun with this fun tractor! Well, THAT was a dumb-sounding sentence... I swear English is my first and only language!
