Hello SP directors and builders!

I will like to welcome you to the first ever SP Academy Awards! We are here today to award users based on their building, acting, designing, producing, and everything in betwe..... Wait a minute, where are the clips and builds?!

Welcome to the Build Trailer Challenge, where you become the builder and the director. For this challenge, you will build your dream build and shoot a trailer showing it off. From intense aerial dogfights between sworn enemies to driving in the streets in your luxury car, battle hardened tanks duking it out on the field to peaceful butterflies flying over the meadows, it’s all up to you.

Build rules:

-Can be fictional or a replica
-Any era/time period
-Can be anything!
-Must be successor of this post
-Must be a new post, no reuploads
-Max 2 entries per person
-XML allowed
-Descriptions are not required but recommended

Video rules:

-Must be at least a minute long and no more than 4 minutes
-Needs to show off build and features
-Can include music (must follow copyright laws of your country)
-Must follow SP guidelines

Judging

The judging will be based on a point system. Whoever has the most points in the end will win. The top three spots will receive prizes. The points will be drawn from the primary categories. There will also be different secondary categories to win, which will have smaller prizes and only a first place spot. To win these, you must have the highest amounts of points in that secondary category. So if you don’t win the challenge, so may be able to win the secondary categories. Here is a list of each primary category and their maximum amount of points.

Primary Categories

Build:

-Design: Does the build look nice? Does it flow together?
Max Points: 30
-Function: Does it have any unique functions? Does the functions relate to the build?
Max Points: 30
-Detail: Does the details look nice? Is it appealing to the eye? Does it add to the build?
Max Points: 30
Quality: Does it look like you spent time and effort on it?
Max Points: 30
-Personal Impression: Did I enjoy using the build?
Max Points: 20
-Performance: Does it perform like it should? (Fighter=agile and quick; Car: Smooth handling)
Max Points: 20

Video:

-Layout: Does the information flow together? Does it transition well between topics? Etc.
Max Points: 30
-Quality: Is the camera shaky? Does the camera zoom in too close/far? Etc. (Lag will not be accounted against you)
Max Points: 30
-Content- Does the video show off the build well? Does the video give enough infomation about the build? Does the music go well with the video? (If there is) Etc.

-Complexity: Is it just someone flying around for 2 minutes or is it more?
Max points: 15
-Personal Impression: Did I enjoy watching it?

Secondary Categories

Best description- The more detailed and descriptive, the better.

Best Aircraft- If you built anything man made that flies, you will be entered into this category.

Best automobile- If you built anything from a truck to a car, you will be entered into this category.

Best armored vehicle- If you built anything armored (wheels and tracks), you will be entered into this category.

Best natural build- If you built anything natural (humanoid, nature related, etc), you will be entered into this category.

Best replica- If you built a replica, you will be entered into this category.

Best designed build- Insert clever remark.

Most detailed build- I can already feel my phone heating up.

Most functional builds- You get a function, you get a function, you all get a function!.

Funky Trees award- They speak the language of the gods.

Best Video- The best of the best at video making.

Prizes

Grand Prize- $15 Steam card+30 upvotes

2nd Place Prize- $10 Steam Card/Discord Nitro (your choice)+15 upvotes

3rd Place Prize- $5 Steam Card/Discord Nitro (your choice)+10 upvotes

If you win a secondary category, you get 5 upvotes. You can also win multiple categories.

Every submission will get 2 upvotes. (One for build and one for the video)

Notes

-$5 and $10 cash prizes can be either steam or discord nitro
-Tag me on your video
-Must include your discord account if you want to enter (So I can dm you the codes to the cash prizes if you win)
