Derived from the original FP-61 for its potent dogfighting capability, the FP-87 try to improve upon the line by incorporating lifting body streamlining with thin wings for both stealth and speed, as result while not as manuverable as the original drastic speed increase and stealth has compensate its shortcoming. The Reverse Swept Canard Biplane has shown it again that it is one of best configuration for an Interceptor without compromising manuverability. 1 for landing parachute.

Looks neat, flies like crazy though. If you and the craft can get the hang the insane maneuverability, I can see it to be a powerful dogfighter
