A working Angle of Attack Indicator!
This Instrument tells you the angle of the wing relative to your direction of travel. It cam be used to predict and prevent stalls and losses of control
How it works:
It has a weather vane thingy that's connected to the wing icon on the display
How can I test it?
Set some wind (5-100 mph) and change the Angle of Attack with VTOL

Decrease. A total improvement overall. @Thelegitpilot13
@Chancey21 oh, cool. Will that decrease or increase the part count?
They actually aren’t my gears, they have been in my subassemblies far awhile. I’m actually gonna build a second version with a universal joint cause it’ll be more precise and accurate @Thelegitpilot13
@Chancey21 I understand how the mechanism work, but I’m wondering how you can build gears like that and not have them clip through each other or explode each other. I take it XML modding has something to do with it?
It’s actually a very simple mechanism. It has a vertical weathervane that tells the relative wind (the direction the plane is going with wind taking into account). Then I just take that rotation and translate it onto the interface with gears @Thelegitpilot13
How do you make mechanisms like this work so well?
I thought you gone @AudioDud3
Maybe an arrow that tells you your precise AoA would be helpful. But they this is pretty cool. @Chancey21
Thanks @jamesPLANESii
Any feedback?
