X-408 Cliff Crawler
Role: All Terrain Scout / Racing Vehicle
Model Number: 408
Project Name: Cliff Crawler
The X-408 Cliff Crawler is a tandem propulsion buggy intended to move on terrain many off road vehicles would consider impossible to traverse. All four wheels are powered, and the Cliff Crawler lives up to its name by being able to simply drive up sheer cliff faces. The mountain range directly due west of Wright Airport can be traversed with ease, and this vehicle can use its rear thruster to aid in extremely steep climbs. If that is not enough, the tires are able to double as floatation devices, and the thruster, combined with the on board gyroscope, can push the buggy over water.
Controls:
Pitch/Roll/Yaw: Drive/Steer/Air and Hydro Steering
Throttle: Rear Thruster Control
Landing Gear: Raise/Lower Wheels for Hydro Mode
AG1: Toggle External Lighting
AG8: Toggle Anti-Flip Stabilizer (also used for air and hydro steering)
