Slugslinger II
358 Tuffbot
8.2 years ago
The Slugslinger II has little in common with the earlier released Slugslinger other than an open hull with pivoting (w/ VTOL, throttle with Trim) engines. Because of those engines, it can almost take off vertically, and, can land on short runways, too. The production team that developed the earlier aircraft have been since "reassigned." The Slugslinger II's biggest shortcoming is its fuel consumption, but, unlike it's predecessor it has enough thrust and lift to fly with it's single engine, even at 80% power. It also has drag chutes to slow it down when landing hot (under thrust), and they are activated with AG6 or AG7. There is two sets of chutes. AG5 will detach the external fuel tanks.
