The Sukhoi Su-24 (NATO Reporting Name : Fencer) is a Soviet supersonic, variable-sweep wing, twin-engine, side-by-side seating arrangement, all-weather attack aircraft that was developed in the Soviet Union. It was the Soviet Union's first aircraft to carry an integrated navigational/attack system.
The aircraft is armed with two Kh-58 anti-radiation missiles, a Kh-29, three (actually sets of 18) OFAB-100-120 bombs, two R-60 air-to-air missiles for aerial-defense, and a Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-6-23 rotary cannon.
It first flew on July 1967 (T-6), and on January 1970 (T-6-2I), and would be introduced in 1974.
