Fletcher Class Destroyer V2
My most ambitious project yet! (Just don't ask about V1) I created this monster for the Battleship contest @General360 organized. (Ignore the fact that this is a destroyer). Turrets are controlled by the VTOL slider, and to turn use the RUDDER keys (yaw axis). History: The long-range Fletcher-class ships performed every task asked for of a destroyer, from anti-submarine warfare and anti-aircraft warfare to surface action. They could cover the vast distances required by fleet actions in the Pacific. In fact, they served almost exclusively in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II, during which they accounted for 29 Imperial Japanese Navy submarines sunk. In a massive effort, the Fletchers were built by shipyards across the United States and, after World War II ended, 11 were sold to countries they had been built to fight against: Italy, Germany, and Japan, as well as other navies, where they would go on to have even longer, distinguished careers. @MediocrePlanes it is really old, I was thumbing through some of your older designs as well. Even though it's an older upload, it's well done.
@TheLatentImage
This is really old
This is really well done.
@Arcues Ignore that bit :P
There's a huge difference from a destroyer to a battleship
