Sisu (SAT) S-401 6x4 Utility Truck

5,802 DragonAerotech  8.5 years ago
Auto Credit Based on MisterMasada's Simple 6x6 Chassis W/suspension

While intended to replace the S-391 as the primary utility truck for the Maavoimat (Finnish Army,) in the end the demand for supplies kept both models in service late into the war. Though production of the S-391 ended with 1939 - the S-401 has remained in production since its introduction the following year. Pitch - For forward & reverse, Roll - To Turn, and Brake - to Brake, obviously. AG 1 - Turns on headlights and tail lights. AG 2 - Right Turn Signal. AG 3 - Left Turn Signal. This is a fictional design for @General360 's RP. Credit to @MisterMasada for this exceptional chassis!

@Blazeinfinity I wouldn't count the Taihonou as a failure by any stretch - you just need to raise the elevators prior to moving out! XD I haven't seen your' Tejas although that structural weakness MIGHT be inherant in its base design - not your' work. lol j/k I have had planes that have had problems in specific maneuvers too. Especially when dealing with modded engines - good grief. I outfitted my Hayabusa with 2 x 100 power J90s I think they're called, just something I randomly downloaded for giggles before I could do XML modding of my own. She made it to ... what was it ... 2.8k mph before her wings ripped off ... even though her wings were modded structural wings!! Yet, my son put one on the back of his Anthony Avia A-1 Hunchback and the bloodly thing blew away my maximum speed at like 4.8k mph and he had normal wings! Strangely his elevators stopped working at like 4.5k mph and even after speed had been brought down, engine shut down, etc. - the elevators wouldn't work. I guess we're not supposed to be making hypersonic aircraft?? XD Another fail is getting the balance wrong on aircraft and doing a complete loop on takeoff - well complete save for the nose diving into the runway. lol

@Blazeinfinity I have had MANY of those! lol Mess up on nose guns and the prop explodes. I have two planes I've designed you have to start at 30% throttle and 50% throttle respectively because full throttle is so strong they will tip. Oh yes and when I first tried to steal an unlimited fuel tank for my subassemblies and tested it; my test ship blew apart and my game went crazy. Nevermind my float planes. Getting the bouyancy perfect to where they will not tip over backwards in place OR tip forward on the run to take-off and STILL be stable enough to land. There was also my first attempt at using the new parts from the recent update and with great expectations loaded it, only to find that one part or another hadn't grabbed the joint in each wheel assembly so the wheels sprawled outward like a crushed spider on the runway. lol I have some planes it seems that I can fly fine but others say have problems. lol Don't worry, you're not alone with flops of builds. XD

@General360 Yeah, I saw that after I asked. Liberate London after occupying a neutral country, hmm? Interesting.

@ccooper Thanks! @General360 - Has the RP ended or is it in? o.<; I'm preparing a couple of versions of tanks built on the same base as well. Next will be a medium bomber or jet fighter, most likely. Although I have a Torpedo boat that just needs its gun installations and detail work before she'll be ready.
