Aim your electronic yapper with VTOL and the 3rd AG. Command your vessel from the (I forget) camera, in the captains deck of coarse. Use 6, and vtol almost all the way up (and throttle all the way) to use the piston freeloaders. Use 2 to move the sails with vtol, and 1 and throttle to use the jets... there are various dials and indicators within the craft's cabin, such as a mirror and sail direction finder!
