NOTICE: Use in high physics only.

I've been wanting to make this plane for awhile but haven't really gotten to it. Well that needed to change. behold, the mighty B-17, Flying Fortress. she unfortunately is not weaponized, but there is a space on the bottom if you want to remove the big hatch. she will NOT go above 70 degrees or she go out control. i tried to fix this but for some reason the centre of lift won't show up. but other than that its a very nice plane and stays steady. she comes with a top speed of 210 mph and handles fairly well. i placed the pod in the back so it is as though you were looking down from the back. @WalrusAircraft for the propellers.

@aircraftarsenal123 - I've updated your airplane and provided the details. Let me know if you like it. I'm asking people not to rate, but they appear to be doing it anyway.

Yeah it sucks having to change settings a lot but that's the name of the game for us mobile users. @LordofLego

@A5mod3us- i put the cockpit there so that it would be as though you were looking through the rear gunman turret station. if you weaponized it you could see the bombs hit the ground.

@aircraftarsenal123 - I'm going to look at your plane tonight. I noticed you have OSX, so you can actually mod the XML. Here are some notes I've compiled that might help you. https://www.reddit.com/r/SimplePlanes/comments/3acdsn/modding_notes/

Yeah. I hate changing the settings all the time. It got rid of lag, so I left it.

@LordofLego I think I know why you're having issues with the wings. Did you leave on the low physics settings from when you were flying my Frogfoot? For some planes, the low physics setting causes weak part connections.

@LordOfLego and @WalrusAircraft That had to be the most civilized fight about a plane I have ever seen....

@WalrusAircraft- yes that would be nice. however the only the only problems I'm having with it is that it is not as powerful as i intended it being, and therefor can not pull its weight vertically. Im not exactly sure as to why it appears to snap or blow up as it doesn't happen. i will try to fix the problem though.

@TanksOfOld- I'm sorry about that. it seems to glitch with a lot of people it seems. it never does that on my computer. but in the the nose, there are four blocks that can be removed and you could try to put it there.

@LordofLego - thank you for your reply. I typically don't call out others is because it generally starts flame wars that are bad for the community. In your case I see a talented builder who I follow, and others look up to. It is your choice on how to play the game. It is just a game after all. Any attempt to get something in the air is an achievement, especially for new users. I hope you have a good day, and best of luck on your upcoming build.
