This strange looking aircraft was designed to be a super STOL jet fighter, to make takeoffs easier the engines could swivel upwards, now it was built to a certain degree but there was a worry that pilots wouldn't be able to control the aircraft if the engine went out while in hover, this would be part of a long line a VTOL/STOL built in Britain which would culminate in Hawker Harrier TAKEOFF INSTRUCTIONS: VTOL to max and throttle to 38 to take-off
