The Y-25A1 Talon is an advanced, electronic warfare aircraft based on the Z-25B1 multirole fighter jet. It is less maneuverable and armed than the B1 variant as it is equipped with jammer pods and anti-radiation missiles.
Key characteristics (other than mentioned in the B1 variant's page):
1. Specifically engineered for electronic warfare.
2. Armed with 2 x Interceptor air-to-air missiles and 2 x GT-5 Reaper air-to-surface anti-radiation missiles.
3. Equipped with 2 x high-band jammer pods (can be replaced with 2 x GT-5 Reapers), 2 x jamming antenna pods, and 1 x low-band jammer pod.
4. Improved (with heavier) PESA radar with interference cancellation system.
5. Tactical and communications jamming system integrated with the aircraft's avionics.
Other than mentioned above, the Y-25A1 Talon has the exact same specifications as the Z-25B1 Spider.
