Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 bis
My best attempt at a proper cockpit, unfortunately the interior is mostly made up because MiG-15 cocpits are mostly just a bunch of gauges and I'm just a bit too lazy to make like 20 different gauges that would probably all be mapped to Throttle anyway, but it still looks pretty good to me!
Info
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 was a jet fighter aircraft developed by Mikoyan-Gurevich OKB for the Soviet Union. The MiG-15 was one of the first successful jet fighters to incorporate swept wings to achieve high transonic speeds. In combat over Korea, it outclassed straight-winged jet day fighters, which were largely relegated to ground attack roles, and was quickly countered by the similar American swept-wing North American F-86 Sabre. The MiG-15 is often mentioned, along with the F-86 Sabre, as the best fighter aircraft of the Korean War - Wikipedia

its awesome mig15 bis in the world
@TheGuyYouMightKnow oh, I know how to use it lol I just never knew it’s name. I thought you were talking about a way for me to shrink parts like rotators or engines :/
@GhostSquadren Well you said you never heard of the transform tool, that's what it's called
I know lol, I thought were going to tell me something I didn’t know. @TheGuyYouMightKnow
@GhostSquadren tap a part, hit the rotate button, and hit the wrench button.
Transformer tool, never heard on that? (reminder: I’m on IOS/iPhone) @TheGuyYouMightKnow
@GhostSquadren If you mean the canopy, I use a mod, however you can use the transform tool, it's does the same stuff.
Also now, how in the world do you make those circular shapes with the cockpit? @TheGuyYouMightKnow
Ok, that’s one checked. How about on wings. How about parts, I have no way to shrink and manipulate parts since ummm on iOS and unable to download mods due to ummm...Apple @TheGuyYouMightKnow
@GhostSquadren Your cockpit didn't work because you tried to fit it all into a fuselage block, try making an open cockpit like this MiG, when rotators get caught up in fuselage blocks its easy for them to brake, that's why you don't see people use the technique that you are anymore.
@TheGuyYouMightKnow making motors and hinges work is difficult, sometimes they don’t work because they attach to a part and fuse no longer no clipping and it’s frustrating. You can see the aftermath of that frustration with the compass instrument in my F-89 scorpion cockpit (it doesn’t work and I gave up, it looks nice either way)
@TheGuyYouMightKnow luckily for me that’s my older one, my newer one is nice but that’ll be the last Korean War jet I upload before jumping to WW2 and Vietnam. And expiremental aircraft like the XF-108 Rapeir
@TheGuyYouMightKnow I’m always up to learn and improve
@GhostSquadren From looking at your's I'd say your first problem is the thumbnail you used, you can hardly see the plane. Second is the shape, mostly the cockpit and guns. But if your plane has a custom cockpit it will definitely get more upvotes, although I'm not sure why you commented on this MiG and not the updated version.
Why don’t my MiG-15’s reach this level of downloads, I put the darn detail in paint schemes and performance.
@Daddelprinz True but I'm not trying to replicate flight performance as much as looks, thanks though!
Solid work man! But the MiG-15 cant turn for shit in reallife :D
@TheGuyYouMightKnow np!
@TheGuyYouMightKnow Hey, you're right! I wonder why that is? The earlier ones have them and the later ones too. I learned something new today, thank you.
@F104Deathtrap MiG-9s yes turquoise cockpits, however the 15 cockpit was black along with the 17
@Stickman Bro
They key to a proper MIG cockpit is plenty of gorgeous turquoise paint. Those lovable commies can't get enough of that stuff! This is one of the greatest flying machines ever devised and you've delivered her beautifully.
