Designed by the Barrums design team at Stockport Aviation, the Saxon is used by the Royal Air Force as a basic multi-engine trainer. This plane became a favourite among crews for its handling and comfortable cruise speed. It has been criticised for its high takeoff speed, and struggled in the civilian market, but nonetheless is considered a great design.
