Simple torpedo (ATG-405B)
IM NOT DEADDDDDDD (yes, I am)
(You also got this. THIS instead of awesome looking rockets which didn’t work.)
Here’s another weapon I randomly named with a bunch of numbers.
ATG-405
The ATG-405 (B) was a torpedo manufactured by (ummmmmmmmm). It’s small size allowed it to be carried on many small-large sized torpedo bombers, or regular fighters as well as many small submarines. It included a small gyro (make sure to hide inside the torpedo) and a camera system, the black “circle” on the back. This feature was often referred to as “the scouting feature” as pilots could drop their torpedo, and use the camera to spot out fleets, and ships. (If the torpedo didn’t hit anything, or course)
Tests
While I was testing this, I realized after a while the torpedo would dive into the water “never to be seen again”
So. I tested out a few times and this is how long it stayed above water.
(Launched about 3.3km away from USS beast at a 45 degree angle)
(Stopwatch results:
Test1- 2:00.56
Test2- 2:00.71
Too lazy to do a 3rd
So make sure to drop your torpedo at a distance that’s not 2 minutes away from your target!
Top speed:
100mph/near the same speed as a normal torpedo.
Notes
I’ll probably use this on one of my future builds but I have no ideas so don’t expect it to come soon.
If you want to save it as a subassembly, just pick it up by the red detached and drag it to the blue box in the top left corner.
There are probably some bugs on this, like without the gyro, the original torpedo will... come out of the fuselage..? If you also put a AG on the gyro, it won’t work when the torpedo is dropped.
I honestly just wanted to get this out as quick as possible So I did knew rush.
