The de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter adalah, tinggi sayap tunggal bermesin, baling-baling -driven, pendek take-off dan landing ( STOL pesawat) yang dikembangkan oleh de Havilland Canada . Ia dianggap mampu melakukan peran yang sama dengan Beaver sebelumnya dan sangat sukses , termasuk sebagai pesawat semak , tetapi secara keseluruhan merupakan pesawat yang lebih besar.
Beroperasi di Indonesia
Otter 300 dikirim ke TNI AU pada 27 November 1959 dengan serial T-202. Beberapa hari kemudian, pada 9 Desember '59, Otter 303 dikirimkan dengan serial T-203. Kedua Otter dalam peti dan dikirim ke Indonesia, di mana mereka dirakit kembali dan mulai beroperasi dengan kendaraan amfibi. Otter dioperasikan oleh Skuadron 4 Angkatan Udara Republik Indonesia (AURI), tetapi terutama digunakan untuk angkutan penumpang dan kargo sipil di daerah-daerah terpencil, untuk kepentingan pembangunan nasional.

The de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter is a high, single-engined wing, propeller-driven, short take-off and landing (STOL aircraft) developed by de Havilland Canada. It is considered capable of performing the same roles as the previous Beaver and was very successful, including as a bush aircraft, but overall a larger aircraft.
Operating in Indonesia
Otter 300 was sent to the Indonesian Air Forces on 27 November 1959 with the serial T-202. A few days later, on 9 December '59, the Otter 303 was delivered serial T-203. The two Otter were in crates and shipped to Indonesia, where they were reassembled and started operating in amphibious vehicles. Otter is operated by Squadron 4 of the Indonesian Air Force (AURI), but is mainly used for passenger and civilian cargo transportation in remote areas, for the benefit of national development.
