it's a failed project.

the idea was as it's namesake, Artificial Intelligence-Dive Bomber(AI-DB), sounds complicated, not really.

it basically amounts to having a gyroscope to climb, and letting the AI go dive after a certain distance is reached. using a missile to let the ai drop the bomb(and mildly guide it), the problem is just.. the AI doesn't know to lead, so despite all hope, it is only able to dive and bomb static targets effectively, consider this one scrapped.

    @Monarchii it's called amateur...
    Especially when they glide bombing and not dive bombing.
    This is cool, don't mind it if I 'borrow' it

    @KSB24 no, not really atleast, i am thinking approaching from rear because in action, the target moves away, and while this can bomb stationary targets, against moving targets it's dumb, imagine if you will, if the bomb is a gun, you have to lead/drop it forward of the target, this doesnt do that so the best solution i can think of is it trailing behind the target and dropping it, it has to be either from front or back..

    But it seems your ai plane is already working just as what you intended (i think)
    As i tested..
    - Flight behind the target plane when you set the summon mode as Agressive
    - Also they can Attacking with its gun as well

    And the kind of Ai i'm making till now it was 100% FunkyTree Controlled Ai which can Following the integers (like sin(TargetHeading-Heading) or Designated coordinate route). Also, my styled Ai can't roaming around by itself when they have lost the target (because it's not the simpleplanes's basic Ai.)
    If you want them Following behind the target & Roaming around the air by ai it self, maybe you have to choose the basic Ai of Simpleplanes. And in this category, MAPA is Veteran as i know

    @Monarchii even though i ain't very expert at FunkyTrees, but if that uses a gyroscope, that shouldn't be hard at all (because as you see, every Ai for cars or planes i designed still worked well even with out Gyroscope.) But i'm not guaranteeing XP

    @KSB24 oh, hello.. I wanna ask, is it possible to control a plane so it drives itself right behind(and above) a target with a gyroscope? I have no knowledge of FT and I'm curious if it's possible

    You could also ask @KSB24 for help with this. He’s the master of AI

    @pancelvonat thank you! the cockpit part is actually inspired by your Aichi D3A(the inlet cockpit), sadly this is not successful, but I might revisit the concept

    Unbelievable. I seem to be dreaming. I never thought that with only 32 parts you could make such a powerful looking airplane.
