The Z-Wing or the Shrugger, as it's test pilots and ground crew call it, is an experimental plane designed to test a concept for lighter and shorter wing for carrierborne aircraft.
Unfortunately it is too dangerous for service use. In level flight simultaneous pitch up and roll results in showy corkscrew through the sky. While turning simultaneous pitch up and roll usually ends up in the drink. Simultaneous pitch down and roll seems to work fine.
The usual controls, no rudders.
