Renard R.36
The Renard R.36 was a belgian fighter designed in 1936.
It was armed with 4 7.7mm FN machine guns in the wings and 1 20mm cannon in the propeller hub. It was considered to be one of the best fighters of its time, superior to the MS 406 and on par with the likes of the Hurricane and the Spitfire.
Unfortunately, the prototype crashed in 1939 and killed the pilot, making the belgian government buy the license for the Hurricane instead (most probably for political reasons though, nothing wrong about the airframe was found in the wreck, it was most likely the radio becoming loose in a maneuver and jamming the controls).
The R.36 had 3 variants, the R.37, R.38 and R.40 (the R.42 was only a paper design) *all of which i will be releasing shortly.* I wanted to finish the plane as soon as possible not to lose motivation in building it so please forgive me for the rudimentary landing gear and simple cockpit!
It's been a big while since i've played the game and the flight model is a bit weird, quite nose heavy and tricky to take off with but i really wanted to make this plane!

Very good plane I’m using it to make a zombie plane
Q: How smooth do you want the wings to look
GlargiBoo: Yes
I love this style of making wings. Excellent job!
@GlargiBoo
I knew I was credible!
@Graingy it is realistic
that is a funky looking wing.
Reminds me of my earlier planes, from before I learned what normal proportions were.
Well done, very interesting aircraft, looking forward to more works
@Farewellntchii yeah you can check it out!
WiErD!
@Farewellntchii thank you! i'm also about to release the R.37 and all the other variants after that haha :) but i'd like to see your version too!
@IceCraftGaming thank you!
@Dragoranos sorry i didn't really think of VR when i made the cockpit
charming thumbnail btw
I loved this plane and I think on it flying irl
The only problem is that the seat is too far away from the panel (VERY bad for VR and for proportions)
And please, remove the torque. It wouldn't be so annoying if it were realistic.
:)
