F-17 Description

The F-17 Spaniard is a multi-role jet fighter designed to replace the Esper Mark 11s in the Ostenian navy's arsenal. Accepted into service as a low cost naval fighter alongside its more expensive brother the Mark 11 EXP, the F-17 performed exceptionally well during tests and only suffered 1 mechanical breakdown during trials.

With the outbreak of the Maywar conflict, Wright sought to replace its aging fighters from the Snowstone-Wright conflict which happened 10 years prior. During this time, the Wright navy were looking to purchase earlier models of the F-17 getting the fist batch of F-17s a few months later.
