I am also an iOS user, however, there are work a rounds. All of my vision blocks, periscopes, sights, and edited blocks come form either Pilotmario or Dugeslor (cannot spell the latter name). I am sure they will give you the ability to do the same.
Also, the mirror trick is very important thing for an iOS user. Build the vehicle.....place a single block and the cockpit you have chosen on the block.....then mirror the vehicle. Now, you can remove and edit blocks.......and add rotors. I will recommend subtracting the turrets face length by .25......then placing a rotor of you choice....a small one. Now mirror the rotor and add your gun mantle.
This is how I convince many of my tanks to have normal, traditional turrets......MBT-5s, MBT-8s, MBT-2s, HESs, TAL-1s, etc. @SPCWorkshops
@PINK well without the fine tuners mod I can't do much to make traditional turrets... Unless it's a T-54/62/64

Looks very dealt and seems like something (when complete) that could get upvotes from the SimplePlanes community. Keep it up. @SPCWorkshops

I have three, if not four major things......
1. The French learned this, a traditional turret is a lot easier to armor than an oscillating one
2. No ballistic glass can withstand anything above 14.5mm rounds if used in a practical manner, excluding the type we use
3. Put the gun on a mantle, or hide the rotor to make it look realistic. This goes along with our hatred of oscillating turrets. A gun mantle is most easily made using the mirror method. I will explain this later.
4. Never have a fuselage, unless building some aircraft....and Centurion tanks transition from hard to soft. Edit the mantle, and the gun separately.....meaning pull off the gun and edit it when the gun isn't attached.
5. It isn't WWI, make your gun tubes straight and pleasing to the eye.....generally with heat shroud.....NO TAPERING PLEASE!
Feel
I feel like going with something either with an M1A2 chassis or a Leopard II chassis
@PINK @Lukorp @Apehorse19 what do you think about my first (thought out) tank turret
