Auto Credit Based on callmom1's Mirage Inspired Delta Wing Prototype

The American made F33 Albert is based off of the famed mirage iii but is equipped with a 32,000 lb thrust engine and special high energery dense fuel to increase range. The f33 only weighs 10000 pounds wet giving it an impressive 3.0+ thrust to weight ratio; combined with the forward mounted air brakes (vtol slider), the f33 is capable of extremly high g and high aoa manuevers.

@circlesquare56 @Yuhengsong I did not use any fancy fins or a gyroscope. The only xml files I changed were the mid section of the body that overlaps so it isn’t heavier than it should be. I did cheat a little by adding fuel to the middl section pieces which only had .2 mass but I explained it as “high energetic density” fuel. The center of lift and mass are placed in the right position relative to eachother and I made the wind in multiple pieces to ensure the game would identify a lifting wing and a wing that I want to have control surfaces on. So basically it’s like a normal plane but the wings are just merged together into a big delta wing.

@Yuhengsong when i first made the plane, the nose dipped down very hard even though it felt great to fly. I switched the front wings to flat bottom instead of symmetrical and then it made enough lift to fly perfectly stable. I didn’t expect it to fly so good but I think the extremely low weight and size, large engine and tail fin, plus the balanced lift with flat and semi symmetrical wings; it is able to fly so well.

You have to put horizontal stabilizers in the far back and size them down with fine tuner, 0,0,0. That’s how I did mine @Yuhengsong

@Yuhengsong You are very nice, thank you. This was the first delta wing plane I made and I based it off of the mirage fighter jet.
