Another entry for Pufferfish0745's challenge, as requested. The Taphisthan Navy was experimenting with different ways to bomb from carriers. Fighters with bombs was effective, but it slowed them down and created drag, so a dedicated bomber was deemed the highest priority. They also were testing a new concept called "dive bombing" where the plane goes into a steep dive to accurately drop its bomb on relatively small moving targets, ones that level bombing would find hard to hit like ships and other vehicles. SchArCo gave Taphisthan a new design to add to its carrier decks. The dive flaps (AG3 VTOL up) slow the aircraft down and makes it easy to control and aim while diving down, but if you go below around 1,200 ft before retracting them back, you might not recover in time. The folding wings (AG2 VTOL down) makes stowage on the carrier easy and compact. Tailhook (AG1) is calibrated to stop the aircraft without damaging the prop. It also has a tail gunner (AG4 and VTOL) to help defend the aircraft. This aircraft contains 2 cannons and 2 MGs on the wings to provide a little extra firepower. The bomb pylon was canted by 10 degrees so the bomb would miss the prop, without using a complicated trapese. This simple rugged bomber was instantly loved by it's crews who flew it, and maintained it, and gave the Taphisthan Navy exactly the accurate and effective bomber they needed.
