Hey everyone, Zerø here. And in this SimplePlanes: Electrosphere post, let's get into the NEU's path.

Gotta say, it's a weird design. But, yknow. Neucom.

[ INTRODUCTION ]

The Neucom Incorporated R-103 Delphinus #3 is the latest iteration of the Delphinus series of fighter. It featured a powerful twin engine and a vertical canted canard to support it's stability even further. It was designed in a way so that it incorporates the stability of the previous Delphinus fighter, the R-102 Delphinus #2, and increase it's maneuverability and speed even further. It was widely used by the Neucom Emergency Unit.

[ AIRCRAFT HISTORY ]

Presumably in the middle of the Intercorporate War, Neucom Emergency Unit is developing an even faster and maneuverable fighter to counteract General Resource Defense Forces newest aircraft design. NEU had most likely acquired this information via sattelite or via the R-352 Sepia Space Fighter after the destruction of GRDF's sattelite.

By the later stages of the Intercorporate War, the R-103 was deployed on a mission to attack GRDF's base to destroy it's ammassing fleet of aircraft. It was then deployed to attack the GRDF base stationed at Port Edwards. GRDF responded by deploying their fleet of F-22C Raptor IIs, and their newest fighter: XFA-36A Game. The conflict ended in both sides retreating as a result of the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization's Special Armed Response Force which consisted of 2 Su-37 Super Flankers, along with their newest Su-43 Berkut fighter.

The R-103 was also able to be stolen by the transhumanist terrorist organization, Ouroboros, as evidenced by the sinking of Megafloat.

[ LOADOUT ]

• 1x Pulse Laser
    A pulse cannon emmitting energy waves that transfers into a ball shaped projectile. It is capable of delivering 4,800 RPM.

• 4x Missiles
    A short ranged infrared guided missile which has a range of up to 2km.

• 2x Spread Bomb
    A 1000lb free fall, low drag bomb that can deal a massive blow in large areas.

Tip: This aircraft is more suited to interception rather than aerial combat, as it is less maneuverable than that of the XFA-36A or the Su-43. It also is however a great choice for a quick strike attack.
