sensors!

(forum post)
no they aren't actually sensors (yet)

Sensors could greatly help funk coders with a lot of possibilities.

examples:
SensorBlock-1
Input=AltitudeAgl + Heading - Pitch

SmallRotator-1
input=snsr(sensor part ID)

or
SensorBlockThing
HingeRotator-1
input=snsr(sensor part ID,Heading,GS,VerticalG)

these can be used like proximity sensors or for active suspension systems with AltitudeAglonly on that point on top of the wheel, not where the cockpit is located or for fly-by-wire for squadrons.

these will be like cockpits but not invincible and would take less resources, and yes I suggested this to 'user voice'.

    I would have been able to have my CBU activate at a certain altitude the bomb is at since I would attach a sensor there. You could also make mines and stuff@CoolPeach

    Huh?
    I don’t see the point in this, unless there’s some sort of inter-build interactivity, but even that’s kinda a stretch. Could literally just copy paste the code ...

    Yes please. These could be used to create planes that, for example, roll to fit between 2 buildings.
