The Striker was a Bomber designed from the Viper Transport. Lengthening of the hull and the addition of second pair of engine pods allow for a bomb bay to be added. The concept was for a bomber to be deplorable from nearly everywhere, Forward Firebases or destroyers and cruisers the Striker was build to Launch and land anywhere with near supersonic speed to get to the target. Delicate balance issues and a thirsty drive system where the drawback.
OPERATION: for Vertical take off set the throttle to between 32% and 35%, the aircraft is mostly balanced but slight pitch correction is necessary during assent (the aircraft can also be balanced using mini VTOL shifts). Use VTOL slider to rotate engine pods to horizontal flight and increase throttle. For vertical landings slow to about 90mph and bring pods upright and reduce thrust to 30%.
TRIM: Down, open bomb bay doors.
ACT 1 and 3: Launch Interceptor air-to-air missiles.
ACT 2 and 4: Launch Guardian air-to-surface missiles.
ACT 5: Drop Bombs.
ACT 6: Drop Hardpoints.
ACT 7: Drop Aft Fuel tanks.
ACT 8: Lock VTOL system.
