The Me-264 ultra long range bomber was a product of the German "America Bomber Program" during World War II. It was an intercontinental bomber designed to directly bomb the eastern United States mainland, and its codename is generally referred to as the America Bomber.The Me-264 was initially developed as a four engine bomber, but according to German technology at the time, it was impossible for this bomber to complete the mission of bombing the United States mainland. Therefore, Messerschmitt proposed four solutions at that time: first, to install rocket boosters, second, to change to six engines (i.e. Me-264B), third, to use one Me-264 as a refueling aircraft to refuel other planes, and fourth, to have one plane tow another plane to take off, so that the towed plane could fly further.Finally, Messerschmitt did not choose the six engine version, and the construction of this "German B-29" was also halted due to the erroneous decision of the German leadership.

@HudDistance The original author did a good job, but she was only listed as a semi-finished product.
