Description: this is a really normal cardboard box, it's literally just a cardboard box, there definitely aren't any surprises in it.

LIGHT NUCLEAR ASSAULT VEHICLE (LNAV)

Overview

The Light Nuclear Assault Vehicle (LNAV) is a ground-based, remotely-controlled, self-destructing improvised explosive device. [In layman's terms, it's a kamikaze nuclear bomb, on wheels.] With RCP Engineering's advanced technological skill, a 15-kiloton nuclear bomb, similar to the one dropped on Hiroshima in 1945, now comfortably fits into a standard cardboard box.

Objectives

The LNAV was purpose-built to, in a war, completely destroy any enemy military base in an instant, before the enemy even realises it. By disguising the LNAV as a cardboard box typically used by movers, it can be secretly delivered to the military base undetected on a truck. As such, the LNAV can reach places no nuclear warhead could ever reach before, such as underground bases.

Weapons

The main weapon of the LNAV is obviously the nuclear bomb. The LNAV has not one, but 2 nukes, contained inside. They are remotely detonated using a complicated series of devices, pictured below.

Fig. 2: The components of the explosive device.

If the LNAV is compromised by the enemy, the controller will immediately detonate the device, killing everyone.

If the LNAV is destroyed by the enemy's weapons, it will also detonate, killing everyone.

If the LNAV is disconnected and is within enemy territory, it will automatically detonate, killing everyone.

If it is not, a fuse will engage, disarming the device and preventing any enemy soldier/terrorist/rebel from utilising it.

The LNAV also contains an additional side-mounted weapon, known worldwide as the greatest weapon known to mankind and a war crime to deploy. It takes the appearance of a standard, innocent QR code. However unsuspecting it may look, scanning the code will immediately melt one's brain and cause them to lose faith in humanity.

Camouflage

As mentioned above, the LNAV is typically disguised in a standard cardboard box used by movers and parcel delivery services. This allows it to completely hide in plain sight and carry out its mission.

The box can be adorned with the logos of major shipping companies/retailers, such as FedEx, UPS and IKEA. In this example device, the logo of RCPost is placed on the box, next to the QR code, as shown below.

Testing

Test 579120-001 was conducted on an abandoned shipyard, far from any population centres. The shipyard contained the following (pictured below):
- 2 WW2-era destroyers
- 1 Tiny-class helicopter carrier, retired in 2009
- 1 Arleigh-Burke class destroyer
- Multiple ground vehicles and shipping containers

Fig. 5.2: An aerial shot of the explosion's aftermath. It can be seen that all 4 ships have been sunk, and all the ground vehicles have been thrown around the shipyard.

Following the success of the initial test, Test 579120-002 was conducted on a retired Beast-class aircraft carrier, flanked by 2 Arleigh-Burke-class destroyers.

Publicity

Of course, the RCP government wouldn't wish to conduct a first strike on any nation with the LNAV (that would immediately start a world war), so it is using the LNAV as a mutually-assured-destruction deterrent to prevent other nations from going to war with it.

An overview of the capabilities of the LNAV has been released in official statements. However, the exact technical details of the LNAV have been hidden from the public and other nations' politicians, which is why this document remains TOP SECRET (I hope there aren't any unauthorised personnel still reading this...!).
