Civil Defender Updated
The Civil Defender is an interesting attack plane, serving as an example of what not to specialize in when designing combat aircraft. Though maneuverable with a heavy punch, the Civil Defender’s ultimate weakness was its below average durability for such a large target profile-due to much of the rear half of the plane being dedicated to the engine as a means of distributing weight evenly. Though one plane could ravage a communist airship in a single stranding run, casualties were incredibly high among pilots. Not all was in vain, however, as the plane achieved a newfound popularity among crafty pilots and engineers for its seemingly endless modularity brought on by its high lift and balanced weight distribution. This particular model is propelled by a 67k/lbf engine with an armament of four 21x rapid fire rocket pods, though the customization possibilities are endless.
