HIPPOCAMP: A mythical and heraldic beast with the head, forelegs and upper body of a horse and the tail of a fish.

+++ TYPE +++
A long-range patrol aircraft designed to protect coasts and friendly waters by seeking out and destroying enemy ships. This plane is fully amphibious and is equipped to land on and operate from the water.

+++ ACTIVATION GROUPS +++
1 - BOOSTER ENGINES: Engages the CONSTELLATION integrated engine system, which includes an enhanced gyro-stabilization unit (on whenever AG-1 is active), the QUANTUM DRIVE directional thrust boost engine (VTOL bar up), and the anti-gravity GRAVITON VTOL motor (VTOL bar down).
2 - MAIN LASER BATTERY: Activates the HIPPOCAMP's main heavy weaponry, two nose mounted PULSAR dual-beam Shock Bolt pulse cannons.
3 - MAIN PROJECTILE WEAPONS: Activates the four POSEIDON torpedoes.
4 - AIR to AIR MISSILES: Activates the FANG advanced AA missile system (Interceptor based; total missile load: 12 units).
5 - AIR to GROUND MISSILES: Activates the TALON advanced AG missile system (Cleaver based; total missile load: 24units). Engaging this system also activates the rotary radar dome.
6 - ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS: Activates two STAR FIRE III fore and aft anti-aircraft laser pods, located near the wing tips.
7 - SURFACE ASSAULT LASER: Activates two wing mounted METEOR STORM shard laser arrays.
8 - DEFAULT SYSTEMS: Deactivating this group disconnects the main UMBRA reactor, deactivating all active sensors, as shown by extinguishing the various engine, radar, and running lights. Default systems also include a nose mounted STAR DUST particle gun for quick response and to assist with aiming.
