This is an Carrier based AEW, based on the Grumman E-2 Hawkeye. It is equipped with folding wings, VTOL down, and not much else. It pitches down rather hard, so the Trim slider is useful when trying fly and land. The parachute maked the aircraft go into a steep retarded (slowed down) nosedive, so should only be used when on or directly above the landing strip. The issue with the parachute is one of the reasons I want Arresting gear. The other is that replica carrier aircraft would be more realistic.
