The Monika class of guided-missile cruisers is a class of warships in the Royal Crystalian Navy. The class was named after Admiral Monika Wirklichkeit. They served formerly for the Royal Crystalian Navy and currently in service for the Royal Sovereign Navy.

Development

The plan for creating a new multi-mission cruiser was executed in 2055, 5 years early before the execution of Projekt der Marine 2065, the project was known as Projekt Angriffskreuzer. They will be complementing Carrier Groups, Bombardment Groups, Strike Groups and Amphibious Groups with the use of their heavy weapon layout. Although approved for construction in 2058, the first ship's keel, Monika, was laid down in 2061. It took 2 years to construct the ship, she was launched in 2063 and was finished the same year. Monika was commissioned in 2064.
