SP DEL150A Mid size Diesel Electric Locomotive
Same case for this one, this was made in around October of 2023 and i was still pretty bad at locomotives. note that the number in the number boards isnt accurate, you'll be downloading 001 locomotive.
Like the DS440, this is experimental because of, again, Flanged wheels.
DEL150A Diesel Electric Locomotive
The DEL150A Diesel Electric Locomotive, introduced in 1975, represents a specialized solution for light and medium-duty operations, directly competing with models like the GE U15C, EMD GP15, and other popular American light and medium diesel locomotives. This locomotive measures 52 feet in length, 13 feet in height, and 10 feet in width, making it compact yet powerful for its designated tasks.
Featuring a Co' wheel arrangement with two bogies, each equipped with six wheels, the DEL150A ensures reliable traction and stability across diverse operational environments. However, its sensitivity to sharp curves requires careful operation at speeds not exceeding 20 miles per hour to prevent derailment.
Designed with a focus on efficiency and maneuverability, the DEL150A embodies innovation in diesel locomotive technology, offering optimal performance in light to medium-duty applications. It sets a benchmark for reliability and operational flexibility in its class, meeting the demands of modern railway transportation.
Controls:
Trim to move
AG2 for headlights
AG3 for marker lughts
AG4 for coupler magnet
To use the couplers, go to the coupler rotators and set it to free spin.
Compatible with these railway map mods:
One last thing. Don't directly attach rolling stock to it, you should use the magnet instead. Recommended to run on Medium Physics.
I hope you like long train journeys. 🙂
