To-Hi
(Fictional) To-Hi was a japanese ww2 era tank destroyer designed in 1943. It was lightly armored, fast and cost efficient tank. It was only 7.8 Tons with a road top speed of 45km/h. It had a long range 85mm anti tank gun, that could penetrate most of the american tanks from up to 2 km. The first prototype was built in august 1944 but the manufacturing started late due to the lack of recourses. 80 tanks were built and most of them were appointed to the defense of the home islands. The tank saw little combat. The first use of this tank was in april §1st 1945 in the battle of okinawa where 4 tanks succesfully defended from a us tank battallion for 2 days when they eventually ran out of ammunition and fuel and had to blow up their tanks while retreating. The tank scored 4 confirmed tank kills and 10 remain unconfirmed. Only one tank still remains to this day in america, it was captured by the us forces when the crew was killed before they could detonate the explosives. The tank had a frontal armor of 20mm and a turret armor of 50mm. It had a decent reload of 10 seconds, but it was ineffective in the hilly terrain of japan due to next to no gun depression. Most of them were salvaged after the war, and few were left in service, but last of them retired in 1948 due to lack of maintenance.
