Canberra “M”
History
In 1978 the invasion of the Falklands Islands was proposed, anticipating that in the coming years the people would rebel against the Military Council.
Knowing that the United Kingdom surpassed Argentina militarily, a copy of the Canberra and the A4 Skyhawk was ordered, called "Bombardier M" and "Fighter/Attack S"
(referring to the names of the two islands, Gran Malvina and Soledad).
The plane copied the engines, but with a slightly better thrust and most of the fuselage, being built 12 planes before the Invasion.
These planes were used to inspire patriotism, along with the Falklands War.
Operating History
On April 29, 3 "Canberra M" left to attack (I'm too lazy to put a location), one of them was shot down, the pilot dying, for not being able to eject, the rest survived.
June 1, 2 "Canberra M" went to bomb a British camp at night, they were attacked by a Harrier, but the attempt failed, returning the 2 planes intact.
After the Falklands War
The aircraft were decommissioned in 1993, as they were inferior to the original Canberra and maintenance was becoming expensive.
Controls
Default controls
(Inside the cockpit controls)
The big lever is throttle and the small one is for the brake, the switches have all names, so there’s no problem with them.
For the challenge I wanted to do something of the ww2 style, but I come up with this.
