Take off and landing instructions: Use the flaps with the VTOL slider and take off at 30% throttle with full elevators.
When landing also use the flaps and avoid the brakes, the will make it nose dive on the landing. Be sure you are going really slow at touchdown, under 100mph it's pretty difficult to land this thing.

It's still a pain to take off and land but the build quality is a little better, and it does fly better.
Pretty touchy on takeoff, but man is it beautiful...and handles amazingly once airborne (floppy wings and all)
