The Alastair Al 27 is a single-engined, single-seat fighter produced by the Stratocracy of Skypark in 1936-7 in response to rising tensions between the islands.
The Al-21 is an all-metal, low-wing, cantilever monoplane with retractable undercarriage and a closed cockpit. The wings were sharply tapered with straight trailing edges, which introduced sweepback on the leading edge. It utilizes a "unicycle landing gear", a single main wheel with stabilizing struts on either wing, to maximize performance with the new Vawamak G–135 engine by reducing weight.
Controls
Notice: it does lean when taking off due to the single wheel(go figure 🙄).
