Initially a joint venture between Henkel and Messerschmitt this plane would eventually become the chief rival of those in the allied PX program. Built from stolen plans for the PX-1A Wingblade, the German engineers went with a sturdier single fuselage design as opposed to the Wingblade's triple hull.
