NHRA Drag Car ''Funny Car''
This is just a filler post for now, I have some larger, better projects on the way. I really just made this for my personal enjoyment, but I thought maybe the community would have some fun with it too. Also, I haven’t seen a single drag racing car on the website that uses a “Funny Car” design, if you have no clue what that is, Voilà:
Anyway, this has some functions to it, so let’s get to that.
Controls: Pitch and Roll to drive, AG-1 for drag chutes, AG-2 to allow wheelies, (don’t do it too hard though, the wheelie bar can only do so much) and Fire Guns to simulate a spontaneous engine fire, along with some parts breaking off. I did this to simulate the fact that these cars are incredibly dangerous, and if poor care is taken, will often times crash in a fiery explosion of twisted metal and scorched earth, quote Jundroo. I would link a video to a particular crash that happened a while ago that was easily the most violent Drag Crash of all time, although I probably shouldn’t put that here on the Website, just to be safe.
I have no clue why of all the things someone could’ve thought of for a name of the vehicle type, they choose “Funny Car” so it’s impossible to take it seriously lmao
Credit to TakiCraft for all the logos and sponsors, you really are amazing with those!!
Have Fun!

@AWESOMENESS360
@Chickenlittle sure, go for it!
Hey @AWESOMENESS360, I modified this car to break the Land Speed Record Challenge with ease. Can I post it so others can have it? I will of course give you credit.
@AWESOMENESS360 guess I might try. If you need help with performance or parts, I’m here to help.
@AWESOMENESS360 thx
@MinecraftKidGuy I guess I could try, don’t count on it happening though.
Can you do NASCAR next? Haven’t seen a lot of those.
well that's pretty fast then
same top speed as a Jesko Absolut though, but acceleration that will literally blow your brain away
@AWESOMENESS360
@Axartar lol
@JeskoGoesVROOM this car’s acceleration and top speed is not accurate to an actual drag car, but since you asked, average top fuel dragsters can do 0-62 in about 0.8 seconds, and have an average top speed of 330mph.
can you tell me a rough top speed and 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) on these cars? (i only want them for conparison purposes)
THICC
haha car make go hahahahah lmao hehe
@AWESOMENESS360 Sorry,Since I am using translation, I made a mistake in the meaning.
From what I've seen, yours drag cars are best.
I’ve sat inside one of these
I’ve tried I’m just not good at it I think you’ll be better @AWESOMENESS360
@Hira629 it can’t be, surely you’ve seen better?
Great! I think it's the best quality car I've seen in Simple Planes!
@Luckycolt why not make one yourself? It doesn’t matter how good/bad you are at building, if you know what it’s supposed to be than you can enjoy a simple build just as much as a complex one. If not, than you can just take my drag car here, and re-skin it if you want.
Please make a John force funny car
@Spikerya nope, that’s 10 exhausts, you’re good.
@AWESOMENESS360 thought so, I was worried I was miscounting the number of exhausts
Well.... I mean, I guess I’ve just been lucky @AWESOMENESS360
