Sakura Motors decided on August 21, 2024 to increase production of the 1984 Eternity between August 2024 and September 2029 by modernizing the vehicle while retaining its original design.

The powertrain is the new "Hf23s-Eternity" engine, which improves the fuel efficiency and torque of the Eternity's traditional naturally aspirated V12, and the maximum output has been increased to 760 horsepower.
It also boasts improved top speed, comfort and handling.

When asked why they returned to this design, Nakamura Kenji and Shirasagi Takara commented, "We really wanted to bring back the retractable headlights, so we deliberately re-adopted the old design (Nakamura)," and "Recently, it seems that a lot of automakers have been redesigning their old machines, so we thought we'd give it a try ourselves, and asked Nakamura to do it (Shirasagi)."

When I asked him about the main changes to the design, he said that they included curved fenders, sharper headlights, and revised wheel diameter.

By the way, the person next to this car is my younger brother, "Shirasagi Takara."
This time he helped us with the redesign of Eternity.
