Thunderhawk-- "Push Plane Competition" Entry
Well, this was an interesting build, to say the least. I've never built a push plane before, so it took a lot of adjustment to make right. The two separate body halves took quite a while to make symetrical, as it seems you cannot spit into two when going off of a 2 wide fuselage piece, but it is easier with a 2.5 wide... Anyways, this thing outputs a whopping 4,000 horsepower from its two engines, beating Delpinus' 3,000. And he thought that was going to be the most. Its takeoff speed is 180 mph (288 km/h), its top speed is a massive 580-ish mph (928-ish km/h), and its stall speed is below 100mph (below 160 km/h). It's very staple, only having a few degrees per second downwards pitch... Although using yaw controlls can trigger a small wobble left to right. As for manuverabulity, roll is great, and pitch is decent. It is armed, although it only has two wing cannon. You may want to add weapons, although the ballance is delicate, so do this at your own disgression. As I said, I've never built a push-plane, and I've never built anything in even remotly a similar style to this, so it was an inteteresting build.
