Anti-Submarine Torpedoes (New Fire Control)
A new improvement on my guided torpedoes, using Cannon-based Fire Control. Select the camera, select the launch, fire, then guide the torpedo while switching to the fuse. Effective against all ships and submarines.
Directions
-Select The Torpedo's camera
- Select The Launch weapon, it will start with 6 rounds
- Fireweapon
- WASD to maneuver
- Switch Weapons to ready fuse (should have 1 round)
- When torpedo is near target, FireWeapon.
- Switch to the camera of the next torpedo and repeat steps.
This is set up for a 5 tube cluster of Torpedo Tubes mounted on a ship, but more can be added via adding rounds to the launch cannon and copying one of the torpedo mounts (preferrably via pulling one off by the hinge rotator and saving as subassembly) and editing the 'ammo("Weapon") inputs to add numbers as appropriate.
They also come with rotator force to launch them out of the tube and into the water without collision issues. Just make sure your torpedo tubes have no collisions and they will launch just fine. It's also imperative that you keep the cannon that's behind the torps as it's integral to their function.
