This aircraft was a supposed to be a bomber, its devlopment process was based off of a poor handling and slow speed aircraft the LInke-Hofmann R.I, though the R.II had many interesting designs implemented, the R.II had 4 engines connected together to power one prop, it also had large amounts of lift allowing it to stay in the air for 30 hours, and the R.II is one of the largest single prop aircraft, But by the time the R.II could be put into service Germany was defeated, there were plans to convert it to a 12 person passenger aircraft, but the Treaty of Versailles ended any further devlopment
